We are happy to announce that we are back and stronger than ever!

The Covid-19 pandemic affected our work, causing us to pause and understand that everyone was dealing with their own realities in terms of getting by.  However, we never stopped following up on how the pandemic evolved and how it affected people. In Ecuador, like in the rest of the world, everything shut down. The effects of the pandemic only added to the problems of those families that live in extreme poverty and have still not recovered from the devastating earthquake of 2016. During this time of pause and reflection, our Board of Directors continued working on ways to raise the needed funding for a house for Doña Carmen. Persistence paid off, and last week, we got a single donation that is big enough to cover the amount needed to complete Doña Carmen's house.  Today, November 29th, we have engineers inspecting Doña Carmen's property to identify any pre-work that to be done. We are so close to making this family's dream come true!

Thank you for all your support!

YOU have helped to give this family the chance of a brighter future!

Ready to be part of something bigger than yourself?

GOT YOU COVERED is a monthly donation program with 100% of every dollar going directly towards building a house for Carmen and her two granddaughters. By becoming a member, you are giving a family the opportunity of a better future, every single month.

Just $10 per month will help provide a home to a family in need.

Together we are unstoppable.

And it starts with you.

The number of families ROOFtoLIVE can help every year depends on the donations we receive.  A house costs approximately $10,000 including materials and labor.  ROOFtoLIVE is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means that your donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Not ready to give monthly?

Make a one-time donation and help Doña Carmen  attain a safe place to call home.
